Just read an article on Bali Discovery that a corpse flower was found growing in Mumbul Cemetery in Southern Bali, near to my home!

After reading this article, I did a quick google search and found out this is the largest unbranched plant in the world, reaching up to 10 feet (3 meters)! Wow, that's big!

Amorphophallus titanum is indigenous only to the tropical forests of Sumatra andendemic to Indonesia. It thrives at the edges of rainforests near open grasslands. The plant is cultivated in many botanic gardens around the world.
