Four Seasons Resort - Eat, Pray, Love (From Bali With Love)

I've mentioned the Four Seasons Resort in two previous posts HERE and HERE
It is the gorgeous, private, luxury hotel where Julia Roberts stayed while filming the book turned movie Eat, Pray, Love in Bali. If you haven't read the book yet, I highly recommend it!
The resort is located in Jimbaran Bay, Bali and offers many amenities with spectacular views.
They have spa services...
...and I adore this room with the traditional island style thatched ceiling, complete with mosquito net and cute throw pillows!
...and the gourmet kitchen...I'd love to have this in my own home!! Check out the chillers in the picture, far left!

So? What are you waiting for? Hop on a plane to Bali. Relax & Enjoy! :)

Indonesian Bedrooms (From Bali With Love)

Hello everyone!
Well, it's just past midnight here in Bali and my day flew by! So much to do, so little time. That's always the story, right? I'm already daydreaming about snuggling up in the bed to go to sleep so I thought I'd do a post on Indonesian bedrooms before I head off to dreamland myself.
Whoo! Looks like I could post on this topic for days...OK, so there will be a part 2 later...and maybe a part 3. :) Hope you enjoyed viewing these lovely images.
Good night all! Sweet dreams!

Flower Birthday Bash (From Bali With Love)

Check out this adorable flower themed children's birthday party. The Mom did a lovely job and the children seem to enjoy it. I LOVE the blanket under the tree!! So cozy!
This type of party would be great for anyone in any location. The countryside, beach tropic setting or the park for those city dwellers. It would even be great for a autumn party too! Can't you just imagine all the different warm autumn colors of oranges, greens and chocolates.
And, what girl wouldn't love a flower adorned crown?
See more pictures of this adorable party at Natalie Norton's Blog. Found via Oh, Happy Day!

DIY: Jewelry Station (From Bali With Love)

What do you get when you take a $1 window screen and a free nightstand, that you found on the side of the road????
A fabulous, one stop, catch-all storage for your jewelry!
The nightstand was painted white and topped with fabric. The screen was kept, as is, for an earring holder and necklaces and bracelets were organized and stored in the drawers.
I LOVE this! I've been searching online for ideas for a DIY earring/necklace rack and I thought about a window screen but was unsure of how it would look. Well, now I know....FABULOUS!
I can't WAIT to get my jewelry organized. I want to combine mine with a makeup table! :) More to come on that at a later time...stay tuned!

Conde Nast Store (From Bali With Love)

Have you heard of Conde Nast
They have an amazing selection of illustrations, photographs, canvas art, note cards, editorial covers and more! Each product you buy is reproduced at the time of order, so you always have a stunning looking print mailed to your door.
While browsing through their categories today, I decided to type in Bali and look what I found!
This was the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine in February 1936. The caption reads:
"A 'Bali Beauty' in a pink headdress poses against a thatched background in Miguel Covarrubias's illustration, which appeared on the February 1936 cover. This was one of the last issues before Vanity Fair ceased publication, until the magazine's revival in the 1980s."
You can get it alone or matted and framed. You can find it HERE for purchase.
You should head on over to Conde Nast and look through their inventory. It's amazing to see what all they have and they are a great source for inspiration! You know Christmas is just around the corner. They offer gift certificates and even have recommended gifts for him, her, books, DVD's, etc...

Enjoy!
