Let the promoting begin!
Since the release of "Eat, Pray, Love", there has been much publicity around the book, author, movie and locations in which the story took place (Italy, India and Indonesia). It was only a matter of time before the tourism sector grabbed their opportunity to take a chunk of the revenue as well. I'm not complaining though. I think it's a great idea and I would jump at the chance to travel the "Eat, Pray, Love" way. I love living in Indonesia and I would love to visit Italy and India as well. :)
If you haven't read Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia, then you can pick up a copy of it HERE. It's a great book and I've blogged about it many times so I hope you can find time to snuggle up and read it!
Ubud Hanging Gardens Spa Resort, in Bali, is offering an "Eat, Pray, Love" package, complete with spa treatments, meditations and yoga. The resort features 38 luxurious rooms with a private pool and views of the Ayung River and mountains. *On a side note, I rafted the Ayung River. It is so much fun, full of natural, scenic sights and beautiful.* Also included with the packages are complimentary mountain bikes, dinner at a nearby Hindu Temple and a blessing ceremony at a Holy Water Temple.
Jimbaran Puri Bali, which is located near my house in Jimbaran, Bali, is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and is also offering an "Eat, Pray, Love" package. The luxurious beachfront resort is offering the "Bali Escape" package, which includes spa treatments, balinese feasts, a private tour of Bali with a personal driver, trip to Uluwatu Temple and a kecak dance.
And, don't forget to check out my LIFE IN BALI photos.
I have some wonderful pictures from my Uluwatu visit, the kecak dance and Jimbaran beach in my online albums.
Enjoy! :)
